For a long time Marek is the top Czech climber, who is signedunder many difficult routes on sandstone and in mountains (Alps, Patagonia, Karakoram, Himalaya). Marek together with Jan Kreisinger was awarded Golden Piton for their first ascent on Meru Central (Filek’s ...).
Since the beginning of his climbing career he has tried nearly every branch of this sport and after a while he decided to stick with the sand and mountains where not only a physical aspect is important but also (and mainly) mental one which brings that real thrill as he says. He has climbed uncountable set of sandstone routes with a need for fiber. In the mountains he has climbed couple good ones as well. Hard and prime climbs in the Alps, Patagonia, Karakoram and Himalayas. He is always trying to do prime climbs (walls and mixes) with his friends according to modern trends. So no fixes or giant expeditions. Quickly, with a minimum of equipment.
