1B Slight succeded in German climbing magazine Alpin

Olaf Perwitzschky from the German climbing and mountaineering magazine, Alpin, recently tested Rock Empire´s 1B Slight and had only good things to say about the harness.  He gave the harness a 5 of 5 for function and a 4 of 5 for the design.  A link1 and link 2 to his review in German

  • The perfect climbing harness must be a lot of things, but, above all, safe!

Harnesses with thin waist belts and leg loops are „in“ right now.  1B Slight from Rock Empire is part of that trend. The harness is produced from laminated sheet material cut with a laser and weighs only 259 grams.

Considering the low weight, the harness is still well equipped with 4 loops for gear, replaceable elastic straps connecting the back of the leg loops to the waist belt, and one 16mm aluminum alloy buckle on the waist.

It has another greater advantage: comfort. The the leg loops are designed to be close-fitting, but still flexible and perfectly adjustable.

With climbing harnesses, ALPIN editor Olaf Perwitzschky favors above all quality and safety. Then comes comfort and weight.
