An Italian expedition comprised of François Cazzanelli, Francesco Ratti, Emrik Favre, Tomas Franchini, Matteo Faletti and Fabrizio Dellai has successfully climbed Mount Edgar (6618m) in the Sichuan region of China.

After all the year´s hard work, we need a little bit of rest. World Cup winner in sport climbing, ice climbing representative, European champion and junior European champion in speed climbing ... it is Julia Kaplina, a Russian representative who on April 23, 2017 at the World Cup in Chongqing, climbed to the top rung with our 1B slight harness and became a master in speed climbing again.
We became partners of Mountime Outdoor Adventure. You can find them in Arco in Italy, the centre of worldwide climbing and outdoor sports.
Bouldering competition was held in 2017, January 14
Place: Žemaičių str. 31, Kaunas city, Lithuania, Climbing Club Kaunas
This bouldering competition is for amateurs and it consists of 6 stages in a year. The event that happened in January 14 was the first stage.
In competition competed 38 man and 26 women. In total 64 competitors.
ROCK EMPIRE started as an idea by two climbers, who were making harnesses and other climbing equipment from everyday materials like car seat belts and fire hoses in their garages. The demand for their equipment grew and the times and government changed enough that they were able to start a firm, Climbing, which quickly became Hudy Production, which is now known as Rock Empire.
This year, ROCK EMPIRE will again have a stand at ISPO February 05-08, 2017, and we invite you to join us.

While wearing Rock Empire´s 1B SLIGHT harness, Russian climber Julia Kaplina climbed to first place and won the World Cup Speed Competition in climbing in Xiamen, China (22 to 23 October 2016).
Julia is not just the winner of the World Cup in 2016, but also a world silver medalist in 2012, bronze medalist of the 2013 World Games and world record holder in speed.

At the end of August in Arco, Italy another race in the World Cup speed climbing and lead climbing series took place. Rock Empire had our own representative: Rock Empire Team Member Honza Zima wearing our Slight 1B harness. This harness also helped Russian climber, Julja Kaplina, during her second place win.
