The annual Girls Only Slackline Festival is a highline meeting for women held in Ostrov, Czech Republic. The event is in it's 7th year, and it's expected more than 30 women will gather in the sandstones to put their balancing skills to the test on a variety of highlines. The event is an international affair, in the past at least eight nationalities were represented.
Just a few pictures from Russian bouldering competition that was held in Saint Petersburg on July. A wide range of climbers took part in in this action and ROCK EMPIRE was a partner of this competition.

ROCK EMPIRE hosted a booth during the 23nd OutDoor tradeshow, which took place in Friedrichshafen, Germany, from 13 - 16th of July 2016 and we are glad that many visitors joined us!
You could see ROCK EMPIRE´s latest collection of light-weight sport climbing harnesses, SLIGHT, and other new products.
The adventure of exploring a new land with a backpack full of climbing (including 1B SLIGHT)and highlining gear and a few friends is hard to beat. This was no exception on my recent excursion to Tasmania; a far away island in Australia that easily attains a list on most beautiful places I've traveled to.
Three Savages Trad Climbing in Jordan
Three young and enthusiastic people are doing some of the hardest trad first accents in the Jordan valley. They use some of the RE equipment such as 4B Slight, Comet set, Hex set and Axel set. We wish them great journey.
In early May, Rock Empire´s Russian distributor, Redfox, helped to organize an international climbing festival in Crimea: Rock Climbing Crimea Fest in memory of Pavel Samolin. Rock Empire was a partner in this event.
Pavel Samolin was talented climber who was born in 1974 in Ekaterinburg. He died in a car accident in 1996.
