Positioning

Ensuring working position safety is done using a technique called positioning. This method is used in hazardous areas where there is a risk of an accidental fall of the worker, and the  positioning systém, when implemented correctly, eliminates the ability of the worker to get to a location where they could fall. Another type of application is to secure the worker in a comfortable and safe working position so that he can work most easily.

Positioning is always performed under constant support of the lower limbs. In other words, it is a work activity where the worker is standing or resting on both legs. Workers who use positioning should be proficient in basic rescue procedures and the basics of first aid.
